Chromium-manganese (200 series) austenitic stainless steel is based on chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel, is to add manganese and (or) nitrogen to the steel instead of the precious metal nickel and developed, its austenitic elements, in addition to manganese and nitrogen, generally there is an appropriate amount of nickel (4%~6%).
201 (1Cr17Mn6Ni5N) /SUS201
Characteristics: acid and alkali resistant, high density, polishing without bubbles, no pinholes and so on.
Uses: Mainly used for decorative pipes, industrial pipes and some shallow stretching products.
202(1Cr18Mn8Ni5N)/SUS202
Characteristics: With Mn and N instead of part of the nickel, so as to obtain good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance, is a new nickel-saving stainless steel, its room temperature strength is higher than 304, below 800 degrees has good oxidation resistance and medium temperature strength
Uses: Mainly used for decorative pipes, industrial pipes and some shallow stretching products.
2205(00Cr22Ni5Mo3N) /SUS2205
Features: Its Cr, Mo and N elements of the interval are relatively narrow, easy to achieve a relative balance (that is, the two phases of about half) to improve the strength of steel, corrosion resistance and welding performance, more for high performance requirements and need to weld materials, such as oil and gas pipelines.
Uses: Used in oil refining, fertilizer, paper making, petroleum, chemical industry and other seawater resistant high temperature concentrated nitric acid heat exchanger and cold shower and devices.
