The standard thickness of hot dip galvanized layer is related to the thickness of the galvanized workpiece, which is usually as follows: the thickness of the workpiece is≥6mm, the average thickness is > 85μm, and the local thickness is > 70μm
The thickness of the workpiece is 3mm-6mm, the average thickness should be greater than 70μm, and the local thickness should be > 55μm
The thickness of the workpiece is 1.5mm-3mm, the average thickness should be > 55μm, and the local thickness should be > 45μm;

Hot dip galvanizing layer is formed by zinc in high temperature liquid state in three steps:
1, the surface of the iron base is dissolved by zinc liquid to form a zinc-iron alloy phase layer;
2, the zinc ions in the alloy layer further diffuse to the matrix to form a zinc-iron miscible layer;
3. The surface of the alloy layer is enveloped by the zinc layer.
Process flow
Hot-dip galvanized channel steel process flow: raw material inspection → pickling → cleaning → zinc aid → drying → galvanizing → cooling → passivation → cleaning → finished product inspection → inspection packaging and so on.
According to the custom, the hot-dip galvanizing process is often divided into two categories: off-line annealing and in-line annealing according to the different pretreatment methods.
