Reinforcement coating mainly has the following types:

Latex paint: Latex paint is widely used in the surface decoration and protection of concrete, and its main characteristics are good permeability and decoration. Commonly used types of latex paint include acrylic latex paint, styrene-acrylic latex paint and acetate-acrylic latex paint, etc., which are suitable for concrete surfaces that have been fully dried but may retain a small amount of moisture inside.

Chlorinated rubber coatings: Chlorinated rubber coatings have excellent alkaline resistance and adhesion, and can form a good protective coating on wet or dry concrete surfaces. Its disadvantage is that it has poor permeability and is usually not suitable for concrete surfaces with high water content. The aging resistance and toughness of the coating can be further enhanced by adding plasticizers and using inert pigments.

Vinyl coatings: Vinyl coatings and chlorinated rubber coatings have similar properties and better durability, but in terms of water resistance and chemical resistance is slightly inferior. Vinyl coatings are usually suitable for the application of cement substrate surfaces, which can improve the weather resistance and chemical resistance of the surface to a certain extent.

Epoxy coatings: Epoxy coatings are widely used for the protection of reinforced concrete structures due to their strong adhesion, water resistance and chemical resistance. Especially in the steel mixed structures of iron and steel enterprises and chemical plants, epoxy coatings can form a high-strength protective layer to reduce the corrosion of acids, alkali, salt and other chemicals on the structure.
